"You need creative people on your team that support what you do and can push you to the next level."

"Love what you do, and you'll never work a day in your life."

She has been a dancer for 23 years and has taught for the past 9 years.

Since moving to Nashville in 2010, she has pursued her music career by playing bass, keyboards, synths, and being a lead vocalist for a variety of local bands including MortalRising, Between A Kiss, and The Fall Betweens. She also plays accordion, guitar, clarinet, and percussion. Monika loves to act, sing, paint, and play music. She has been in numerous theatrical performances including Hairspray!, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Godspell, Annie, South Pacific, The Odd Couple, and Jesus Christ Superstar.

She currently is in the recording studio (Lambo Studios) working on her first singles album entitled Blankets and Bed sheets, a tribute to family cover songs as well as a few originals of her own. She earned her Kindermusik Business Owner and Educator License in the winter of 2010, buying a franchise of one of the top early childhood music and movement education programs in the world.  In 2011, she opened her small jewelry business called Wearable Relics, creating fun and affordable, one-of-a-kind recipes of necklaces, bracelets, and earring sets. In 2012, she received her Grumbacher Fine Arts Instructor certificate through Chart-Pak. She also obtained her Acting and Modeling Instructor license in TN and KY through John Casablancas.
